It was early, dark and cold sprinkled with many a miracle and minor regrets. At 4:14 AM we shopped, like we have never shopped before. We (less our team captain Lindsay- who will be referred to as "Cappy") are no longer Black Friday Virgins.

My battalion went to Target, a few highlights...
1. The lady who stormed the door once they opened while hurdling construction tape, dodging a security guard twice her size and cutting in front of approximately 500 people.
2. Erika thinking Target was generously giving out free burritos- the free kind that you have to pay for
3. Andrea stealing someones cart
4. Someone yelling at a stranger for having on an unforgivable vest
5. Erika getting mad at someone for yelling at a stranger who had clearly made some poor life choices
6. Erika standing in line at a cash register because she was worthless at any other position (Ange was on Toys, I was on Electronics)
7. Erika playing security at aisle 7 (she grabbed a $7 sweatshirt to look like she had a purchase, and then would allow others to pass while she waited for us)
8. Our rock star parking spot
9. Our beginners luck - we were in and out in approximately 21 minutes
10. Getting everything on our list, except my IPOD docking station. It was my own fault, I lost focus.
The rest of our morning wasn't as eventful- we went to Porters so Ange could get her decoration, even though Erika and I were hesitant she made us wait. Went to Penny's, went to BFAST where some older gentleman picked up our tab, back to Target and home.
No naps were needed, we had too much adrenaline.
BF10 anyone? Training begins in Mid May.

You guys look like quite the crew. I can totally see you all running around the store. I hope there were walkie talkies involved, that would make the picture in my head 10 times better.
Don't count me in next year, I have serious fears of being trampled to death by thrifty shoppers.

Good times. I keep re-living it in my head daily. I am keeping a BF journal so I know what to do better next year. You know, a play-book of sorts.
