Philippines. Vol. 1. The Commute.

In 30 Hours I.....
1. Complained about the fact that the United Airlines Staff was inefficient and late to work
2. Ate a bagel and cream chese (is 4 AM too early for bfast)
3. Decided to pretend that I was a character in a John Grisham fleeing the country
4. Took a nap
5. Fought of anxiety of my battery on my IPAD dying (a impulse purch of sorts)
6. Read 2 Magazines (the Kardashians were anticipating a lovely Holiday, I wonder how it really went)
7. Watched 2 movies (Eclipse, then some other one that I got bored of)
8. Tried to figure out where the dirty diapper smell was coming from on our plane ride (Scott then told me it was the mans breath sitting next to him)
9. Got grossed out at the plane food they served us (fish in close quarters is one thing, 500 of them in an airplane is another)
10. Drank about 14 Diet Cokes
11. Started "The Hunger Games" (made it through 2 paragraphs...don't convince me to finish, I'M NOT A READER)
12. Played Angry Birds
13. Played the Moron Test (thanks Erika for the introduction)
14. Ate treats, (then got irritated at myself for not going with Scott the night before to buy them...his idea of treats makes me want to gag)
15. Tried to set up shop in the Korean Airport (the fanciest terminal in the wold)
16. Started counting any other blondes that I saw (which I could do on one hand)
17. Watched "Burn Notice" (a new found favorite)
18. Got off the airplane in the Philippines in a vest and snow boots, then started sweating and stinking
19. Realized all customs officers fit someplace between Post Office Employees and Receptionists at Dr's offices (I think all 3 fields require a commitment to arrogance)
20. Saw these 2 people I haven't seen in 7 months....and boy were they glad to see Scott...(and me)

Trip was a success, saying goodbye was annoying- plenty of good material to last my blog a lifetime.

Can't wait to see what you think of the Philippines! I might consider going there with Jer someday if you've approved of course.
