If by widdled you mean to form out of wood with bare hands, then I absolutely didn't do this.
If by widdled you mean re finished a small tabe of my moms, then absolutely I did.
(Scott, if you are reading- which I know you aren't... never at any time will a Longhorn be painted on this, or any other surface in our house for that matter)

Love it! And the same goes for my husband with Gators. My son already greets people doing the gator 'chomp, chomp' with his arms. Nice.
