I vote we celebrate President's more frequently. After rolling out of bed at about 9:50 AM, boy and I met Meg and Brad for lunch and a movie. We went
to the District- its right across form Daybreak- a neighborhood that friends (Ash and Celina specifically) are spokeswomen for. We then ended with an afternoon of shopping, we even hit a milestone- visual
explanation to follow.
Lunch at Red Robin- I had the Baja Turkey sandwich- enjoyable, however if you get it ask them to hold the 4 gallons of melted butter that they marinate the bread with. (not the milestone previously mentioned)
We went to see Taken, obviously it scared me- as I am scared of basically everything. Great show- perfect plot, time and length- also quite clean. You will be pleased to know that Boy did promise to chase me down in the event I am stolen by someone in the Paris Airport, see the movie and that will make more sense.(still not the milestone)

He's cute huh - -This my friends is the milestone- nay a President's Day Miracle even. Yes, boy bought shoes..... full price! I needed proof as I really think this is the first time in his 35 years! (and maybe it was a good excuse to blog) Call it frugal, I call it harsh memories of the Great Depression - the 20's were tough man. Milestone continued....

I being the giver that I am noticed that if you spend $100 you got $20 off- so naturally I found a pair for myself. (Famous Footwear- but hurry because the discount ends today) Milestone- mine were on sale.....also a first in my 25 years. I'm pretty sure we've bonded for good now- it just took a pair of full price Puma's to do the trick- maybe he'll increase my budget now that he knows the cost of a decent pair of kicks.
