Looks Like We Made It

Three years. The amount of time my friend left for her mission in the 3rd grade (Michelle, who don't bother cyber stalking because although very witty refuses to ever update her blog),  the amount of time Scott spent in high School (don't imagine where I was at that time), and the amount of time Scott has spent feeling like the luckiest man in the world.

In our time as the Cunningham's we have learned many great thing about each other, and have stopped trying to figure out even more. For Example....

1. I have asked him for 6 months to drill holes in our wall to hide the television cords...to which he has unresponsively noted.  Until last week...5 minutes before we were expecting company. Let it be known however that it did get done.

2. One of us gets crazy legs (when your legs go numb- a phrase coined by ACN) while sitting in the car and thus has to elevate them on the dash.  A method that any health care professional would condone so long as they are above the heart. Scott sees this as the catalyst for the scratches on the dash.

3. Grocery Shopping is arguable one of Scott's favorite pastimes, one of mine is unloading them to see what he has thrown in the cart without me noticing. Currently he is loving Yohoo in a can. (a bev I knew nothing more of other than it is a lyric in a Kenny song). He doesn't understand the DC passion, while I don't understand the fascination with drinks that nobody else in the county even knows exist.

4. One half of the Cunningham's doesn't move a muscle in their sleep and wakes up to the thought of noise. The remaining half turns back flips, usually ends up on the floor and could sleep through a fog horn.

5. Scott prefers the beach. I'd like a pool with a beach view.

Although we may be the worlds most different people, we get by...and it's actually been quite entertaining.
