I however would like to point out, that although my stitch, cast and crutch count is somewhat high- so is my level of physical activity. I'm not a freak accident kind of girl, but if there is a chance that something can be broken, torn, or cut then put your money on my doing it 9 times out of 10. I distinguish between freak accidents, and accident prone mostly because I have a sister who is the former. (this is an official dare for Ange to post about how good she is at jumping into her pants)
Turns out I have a broken arm. I fell off my bike. (jokes I've heard: 1- Did Scott take off your training wheels to soon?) It's my left elbow and the fractures are small- (who knows I probably did it falling out of bed 3 years ago and I'm just now getting X-Ray confirmation.) At any rate, I was taking inventory. Here goes.
Age 2- broken left elbow (fell off of a stool)
Age 2- kidneys shut down as result of pins in arm, (resume normalcy upon removal)
Age 4 (aprox)- stiches in chin (fell off a counter while brushing my teeth to go to a neighbors house for Chili)
Age 13- ankle sprain at BBall camp (bruising to the calf, happened on the first day- money refunded)
Age 15- stitches in lip (car wreck, wronged by a horse trailer)
Age 15- ACL Tear (bball- a career ender I must say)
Age 16- ACL Tear (sloppy seconds from former)
Age 19- ACL Tear (fix up from former)
Age 22- stitches in hand (box cutter, stitches placed to help prevent scaring- didn't work)
Age 26- broken left elbow (fell off bike)
(A few prayers that the left elbow trauma is not the beginning of a list of cyclical injuries would be appreciated.)

Wow. Perhaps I should change my kids' last names. Good luck Kristen, hope you feel better. Vince threw my bike in the garbage las year, apparently he is aware of the Byram curse.
you are the gayest gay I know. feel better.
Kristen... I LOVE YOU! I'm so sorry that you got hurt... BUT the upside is, you did make me laugh from your post. The whole horse trailer incident was just too much. I remember that day very well. Oh heck, you are a an accident prone person but at least you have an awesome personality to go with it! Love you Kris & I hope you get better soon.
at least it won't interfer with online shopping
Ouch! Elbow breaks are no fun I hear. And it's unlikely you'll be able to pull off getting a temporary handicap parking sticker with just an elbow break. Next time try and break something that will at least get you the sticker back.
man that's crazy bad, maybe you should just stay indoors from now on...i have never broken a bone or had stitches..well i've had stitches but those don't count!
What a career ender? I am totally proud of OUR career on the bench. Ok so maybe so but it did make for some freakin' funny times! Hope you feel better even though I know no ones suprised that somethings broken on that body of yours.
