Due to several ski/snowboardless seasons (thank you high school sports for teaching me both how to be a team player and to survive life with an arthritic left knee comprable to that of a 80 year old) for the first time in recent memory I am stressed out about the snow leaving.
We spent most of the winter snowboarding, and while most of the resorts have now closed (or will with in a weekish) I have 2 more days left into me. Thank you Snowbird for an insurance plan that has the longevity to surpass a spring thaw.
We finally purchased a king-size bed.
In the months passed, I have developed a new talent: falling out of bed. While it has been less frequent with the larger mattress, I still wake up to the ground punching me in the face on occasion.
I spent 3 weeks (not exagerating) sick.
One Sunday night I was awaken with gut wrenching nausea and spent every 45 minutes ejecting any and everything that I had eaten in the past year. It stopped the next morning with a shot from the doctor. Days later it would develop into a cold and then a virus. Thanks to a Z-Pack and Inhaler I survived.
I had my first bike crash of the season.
Last year I picked up a new hobby- road biking. Please recall THE ACCIDENT 09. Luckily, this time no rail road tracks were involved- I simply got to a stop sign and realized about 2 seconds late that I hadn't clipped out of my pedals.
My mom and dad are still moving.
They are gong on mission. Being as my dad backed out of a trip to Europe days before they were to go (don't mention it to my mother, she's just recently gotten over it) I had my suspicions. I'd feel better about it if my dad bought me a brand new outfit before they left. If you know him, please call and advise him of this. I beg you.
That sums it up in a nutshell. Oh, and I now part my hair down the middle, I know how my locks are always on your mind.

I love that you fall out of bed, watch out for the corners of your dresser, I split my eyebrow open when I was 7 or 8 from falling out and hitting the dresser corner!!
I feel better knowing that your hair is parted down the middle. I can now sleep better at night... so can jonathan. (i wish)
